I spent a few nights on an expansive station/farm near Griffith some years back and captured a number of images of the stark yet spectacular vista's, a particular image that stuck with me was a dramatic scene of an approaching storm as night fell. This painting is from my own reference photographs. I have limited the detail to highlight the spectacular yellow sky.
I simply enjoy the creative process of creating art with brush and palette and digitally with photography and graphics. I have attended numerous workshops over the years to perfect my technique and learn something new but do prefer to let my own creativity take charge of the end result. I exhibit at local exhibitions from time to time and have been fortunate to have had some of my work purchased by private collectors.
