Summer Table

My drawings are influenced by Matisse and Cocteau. I love to do single line drawings, which reveal an honesty in the simplicity of the single line. You can't hide behind a line! This a table in a summer home in Ireland, with a jug of wildflowers, a bowl of lemons and a plate of grapes. You can see the landscape behind, giving a sense of being inside the picture, sitting at the table. It is terrific still life picture to brighten any corner of a home.
