Hi everyone, my name is Christian Williams, I'm an abstract painter. I'm so glad you have found your way to my page and viewed my art. I strive to make beautiful, bold abstract paintings that I hope will inspire you to make your own visual pieces. We're all here to help each other! My art focuses on colour, light, texture and form, drawing on the inner creativity that I believe is in all of us. I was an early childhood teacher for many, many years, and drew so much inspiration from the art of the children I taught. Children are free of the constraints of what is right or wrong in art, what is correct or incorrect. They approach art with speed, freedom and joy. My art strives to capture that essence, that freedom, that joy. My work invites one to feel and connect in a way that is hard to put into words, but easy to explore with the eye.
My background is in eduction, music, and the dramatic and creative arts. I'm multi disciplined, with a thirst for knowledge, new ideas and approaches . I draw inspiration from anywhere and everywhere.
