Christie is a Central Coast–based artist and mother of four, creating atmospheric paintings inspired by the natural beauty of Australia. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, her pieces draw on coastal light, shifting skies, textured landscapes and quiet rural scenes, capturing a sense of calm, warmth and connection to place.
Her return to painting began unexpectedly through drawing with her young son, reigniting a creative practice that has grown into an exploration of landscape, colour and abstraction. Through layered, expressive mark-making, Christie creates works that reflect the peace and beauty she finds in the natural world.
Her aim is to make art that brings serenity, joy and a sense of groundedness into everyday spaces.
