Artwork Description

My home is in a beautiful bushland setting and I wanted to bring the outside in but give it a more “design” element . I had out the magnifying glass to peer into the banksia cones and leaves to find out their secrets. It’s a large work that does attract a lot of attention. The matching painted wall was part of the work to enhance the colours but it works well on neutral walls as well.

Artist Bio

I have lived on Sydney's beautiful northern beaches all of my life, apart from a 3 year interlude being a farmer & focusing on my ceramics whilst on a property in the Northern Rivers NSW.
The influence of living in the bush and by the ocean greatly influence my art practice, I am constantly searching for new inspirations, attending sculpture classes and life drawing sessions weekly to continue to grow and develop my body of work, it's an evolving work in constant progress! Currently I am working on rock formations and life drawing.
