Out Like A Light

A glowing quality with clear colours give this work a lovely feel. It won the “People’s Choice” award at Sydney Art Spaces annual exhibition in January 2019. This was the models first time back modelling after many years and she took some time to finally relax. It’s beautifully presented in a good quality frame ready to hang.

I have lived on Sydney's beautiful northern beaches all of my life, apart from a 3 year interlude being a farmer & focusing on my ceramics whilst on a property in the Northern Rivers NSW.
The influence of living in the bush and by the ocean greatly influence my art practice, I am constantly searching for new inspirations, attending sculpture classes and life drawing sessions weekly to continue to grow and develop my body of work, it's an evolving work in constant progress! Currently I am working on rock formations and life drawing.

Specialising in wheel thrown, highly decorative mid fired ceramics for over 30 years.
Studio exhibitions and open days, taught wheel throwing and ceramic building techniques.
