Artwork Description

"Ageing is an extraordinary process where you become the person you always should have been."
β€” Jodie Foster
Ageing women are the focus behind my latest work β€” mainly because I am one.
I've painted youth and conventional beauty, but now I'm capturing something more powerful, women who no longer need permission or approval. Women who move through the world with a strength that comes from having survived and thrived.
This work is mixed media on canvas with a custom frame in Australian Oak and finished with cold wax.
