Artwork Description

This painting has been created in a contemporary abstracted style befitting the modern ultra smooth surface.
This painting was a Finalist in The Columba National Art Prize 2025.

This stunning artwork references the changing season of Autumn (Fall) where colourful emerging botanicals merge with crunch fallen leaves, seen on the forest floors in the cool climes of the Blue Mountains of NSW Australia where this artist lives and creates in her bushland studio. The professional grade alcohol inks flow and blend across the surface, Colours pop and autumn shades subtly blend.
It is a hand-painted statement piece to brighten any room. This colourful one-of-a-kind contemporary painting has a lux finish in beautiful pigments of orange, white, ochre, cream, and shadow greys, to reflect the shifting light beautifully really bringing the painting to life.
The painting was created using various well-honed techniques combined to ensure flow and melding of colours, to create interesting patterns and interactions of emerging tones. This creates flows and movement which can’t be replicated..
The painting is set into a bespoke white painted timber float frame, with gallery d-rings and wire at the rear ready to adorn your wall. It has received several protective coats of clear UV varnish.
Please note in Australia, shipping is included in the price

“While I have done many things in life so far, studying, working and travelling extensively, I truly think I was born to paint! I get great joy from creating and more so when my art is appreciated and sought by viewers and collectors. I am so fortunate to live and create in the World Heritage Listed Area of The Blue Mountains, and take most of my inspirations from its natural environs and my own sprawling Studio gardens,

I enjoy being an active member of the vibrant Blue Mountains arts community. I volunteer at my local art gallery and enjoy giving back to the arts community in that way. I have run art classes for 10 years and have been requested by art societies to provide workshops, demonstrations and to judge their exhibitions. I have also curated a number of Public Gallery and Art Society Exhibitions.
