Deep Forest is inspired by the shifting first light through the forest foliage. It is a hand-painted small statement piece to brighten any room. This colourful one-of-a-kind contemporary painting has a lux finish in turquoise, blue, copper and gold. It has a textured surface and is finished with blackened edges all round for a smart modern finish. Images show this painting as a portrait style, but you may want to hang it as landscape, such is abstraction.

The painting was created using various techniques combined to allow increased flow, interaction and separation of colours to create interesting patterns where pops of colour can be seen emerging from underneath. This creates an added dimension which can’t be replicated. A gorgeous variety of acrylic pigments were used including shades of green, dark blue, burnt sienna and finished with gold highlights. Soft brush strokes of subtle copper metallic paint flow down through the painting in a glazed, impressionist style.
The metallic gold notes reflect the shifting light beautifully really bringing the painting to life.
