DRIFT is a signature piece which takes my love of working in inks to the next level. The fluidity of inks is pleasing to work with and colours can be intense to gentle. The painting evolved from sensuality of painting on timber. The piece of timber was cut especially for me of prime material and the painting surface is cradled by timber sides which looks good and prevents warping. I use flowers from my garden as the subject matter and my style is impressionist abstract.
