The colour palette in my gum blossom series of paintings is inspired by the Springtime colours of the Australian bush near my art studio in the Blue Mountains of NSW. This painting has been created with layers of inks and acrylic paints, with metallic gold notes to indicate the glistening soft sun. The painting's deep edges have been painted in dark grey for a smart finish.
This painting is signed on the front and has received UV protective varnishes.
