Painted en plein air on the Fire Trail behind Seven Mile Beach. As I seek to connect with the nature and terrain of my home in Lennox Head, I seek out secret places to paint where I can only hear the birds and the wind. I use paint expressively to capture the weather and mood on the day. Paint is applied thickly and spontaneously on a richly coloured ground in an effort to capture the moment and impressions of the flora of the area.
