Artwork Description

Distortion #3 is part of my Sydney studio series. Light streaming through an extra large window is modified to produce an array of different effects. Slithers of light to broad diffuse spreads.

The subject of 'distortion #3' is the studio rendered wall & concrete floor. Reimagined with a subtle camera pan during exposure deriving an ethereal mood of blue on black textures. Predominantly low key this particular image permits contemplation in the dark spaces but, ultimately, lands you back in reality with a splash of blue wall texture and slash of sliver light across the concrete floor.
