Artist Bio

Over three decades ago Chris commenced his artistic journey establishing SilverShadow.com.au - his boutique photography studio and now brand. Charting a course towards the artistic nude genre and with a steadfast dedication his is regarded as one of Australia's premier master artists. Tried and trusted his work has been recognised and awarded by esteemed institutions to be outstanding. Yet, he is not one to rest on past laurels; rather, he continuously explores new frontiers.

In recent times, Chris has delved into abstract photography and the painting medium, leaving an indelible mark with his captivating pieces.

His portrait, "Peering from behind the blue door," garnered attention and was subsequently selected as a finalist in the prestigious Doug Moran Portrait Prize competition. This accolade holds particular significance as The Moran is not only a coveted Australian art prize but also the world's most financially rewarding, boasting a prize pool of $150,000.
