"When I wear my bunny ears"

I use an intuitive method of painting whereby the background layers decide the theme and characters that will feature in the piece. "When I wear my bunny ears" was inspired by sideshow circus themes and my love for the nostalgia of childhood memories.
I love utilising the element of surprise in my work which appears in the layers of background paint and the addition of collaged vintage papers. The main figure is an amalgam of my love for carnival and clown figures. This piece has been sealed with a matt varnish.
