Purple flowers of lavender on a yellow sun filled background.A loose expressive work inspired by the streets of Piran and the fig trees growing there in difficult conditions. I loved visiting Slovenia and was inspired by the old streets of this harbour town.Dahlias, Lilies and daisies grouped together.I was keen to capture the vibrancy of the sunlight and blue sky behind the box leaves as they throw their shadow on the shed wall.
