Peachy Poppies was based on a floral arrangement by the wonderful American florist, 'Blue Jasmine Floral' AKA Paulina Nieliwocki . I love the way poppies have such strong, vivid colours yet are floaty, fragile flowers. I tried to capture their strength and fragility in this painting.
