Artwork Description

From a series called 'The Garden at Night'. Poetic imagery of foliage and blooms in the half light of early evening. Reduced palette with traces of colour in the underpainting. Themes about time and memory.

This is a striking painting with loose painterly surfaces and textures. It could lift a room which is light and has other splashes of colour or could work equally well with a black and white decor.
