Claire Skeet is a West Australian artist working primarily in acrylics. Drawing on 15 years of experience as a costume designer, she brings a strong sense of colour, movement, and composition to her painting.

Her bold Australian impressionist landscapes explore the shifting light and vivid colours of the Australian sky. Using brushes and palette knives, Claire builds textured surfaces with expressive marks, blending colour directly on the canvas to create a lively sense of atmosphere.

Entirely self-taught, Claire follows an intuitive approach to painting, guided by curiosity and a love of experimentation. Whether capturing the energy of the landscape or the character of a cat, she hopes to share the joy and beauty she finds in creating.
