The almost fantastical bird, The Peacock, calls for a more expressive capture. This is an original watercolour and ink painting, completed in 2019.

The majestic peacock was illustrated using Windsor & Newton professional watercolours and Sennelier inks, on Arches 300gsm Smooth Watercolour paper in natural white 100% cotton. I drew back into the wet paint, and used a white goauche over the dried paint to bring detail to his feathers. A3 in size, the artwork will be sent to you packed flat in an archival clear sleeve with heavy board to prevent damage.
