I came across this “Mongolian Cowboy” at an eagle hunting gathering at a Mongolian Farm. To me he looks like the Mongolian “John Wayne”. We were surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery but I loved photographing him simply against the white background, leaning on the old TV with the smoke in his hand ! The simplicity of the high key background makes his fur coat, hat, hands, and rugged expression all really stand out.
