Born and raised in Whitley Bay, a picturesque coastal town in North-East England, Clare has always felt deeply connected to the sea. This coastal upbringing shaped a lifelong fascination with the relationship between nature, light, and water. After studying Fine Art in Leeds, Clare relocated to Sydney over a decade ago, where the vibrant beaches and stunning landscapes continue to fuel her creativity.
Clare works primarily with acrylic paint to create colorful, realistic seascapes and coastal paintings. Her work captures the intricate beauty of nature through an exploration of color, shape, and reflection. Drawing inspiration from the abstract forms of the ocean and its shifting hues, each piece offers a moment of tranquility and connection to the sea.
Through her paintings, Clare invites viewers to pause, reflect, and experience the timeless allure of the coast.
