I loved painting this Canvas, at the end of Summer feeling the cool breeze of Autumn trying to sneak in. All of nature vibrant colours bursting and the seasons colliding, composing anew song to dance too...This painting is a real celebration of colour and the seasons that all too often depict our mood.

I am a full-time professional artist living and working from my home studio in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs. As a painter and print-maker my passion for colour and illustration crosses over many different mediums. Transitioning from oil on canvas to etchings and printmaking was an easy transition that allowed me to push the boundaries of mark making on paper using traditional and contemporary techniques. Formally studying Fine Art at Melbourne’s RMIT (1993), where I majored in Painting. Both my etchings and ceramics have been widely exhibited from the National Gallery of Australia to the Melbourne Museum. An extensive private commercial collection of etchings can be seen at Melbourne’s RACV clubs and Canberra’s famous Ovolo Art (Nishi) Hotel. Having lived and worked throughout Australia and abroad, my work expresses a freedom of interpretation using colour and natural forms found in my immediate surrounds to capture everlasting memories open to the viewers interpretation.
