Artwork Description

Acrylic Paint on canvas

Signed with a certificate of authenticity.

This is Cliff's Grandfather's land. He was taught about this country from his Grandfather when he was a young boy. This is tali (sand dune) country and has many mulga trees, spinifex and rockholes. This is a sacred design used for shields and ceremony. The painting was completed in 2010 and was included in a number of group exhibitions. It was rediscovered in 2019 among a roll of forgotten paintings. It is a very special painting by a man who was of the first generation to paint.
