This version I have used a metallic golds with a white wash to represent the sand with the cool calming greeny blues, turquoise and deep blue for the wave. Inspired by when I lived in the Whitsundays and spent my days off on the surrounding Islands of Airlie Beach. This painting has a heavy textures to create the water ripples - movement and the rough sand. A piece inspired to calm almost like a meditation piece where you feel like you are at the beach.
