This is my second version of the wattle flowers in pink. Ive been walking Ansteys Hill a lot which is a national park near my home in the Adelaide Hills. Spring is in the air and the bush is filled with all these beautiful Wattle Trees of all kinds. A spray of sunny yellows fills the hills which is so up lifting. I was then inspired to paint my first wattle flowers in a vase in my textured abstract style. I loved the yellow version so I painted a pink version. The painting is very textured and the flowers and vase really pop off the canvas. The vase is a soft yellow with a white wash. Painted around the edges ready to hang. These paintings always look better in real life vs a photo.
