Abstract Therapy Six

Abstract Therapy Six

Abstract Painting on paper framed
by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

This original mixed media painting was a continuation of my recent experiment in using spray paint, brushes and liquid pigment to explore memories and the edges of perception.

Other techniques are used to apply the paint, this includes using Rollers, rags, scrapers, spray packs, Paint Pens and pencils and even with my fingers.

The work is an Abstract Statement Piece that would create maximum impact to any room.

This artwork is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces.

This piece was also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes framed black poster frame mounted under protective perspex and is ready to hang.
