Urban Pop mixed media Painting.

This work is made using Street Posters, Advertising & other Recycled Materials, it takes it’s cues from Graffiti in City Laneways and Billboards and was overlayed with Acrylic Paint, Spray Packs, Stencils & Paint Pens.

This painting comes framed in black and is mounted under a clear perspex sheet. The work features a fragmented image of Kurt Cobain over layers of paint splatter and paper from gig posters, comic books and newspapers, which is all built up to create a textured abstract finish, simular to what you see on walls and billboards in public spaces.

All my works have a textured finish from the built up layers of paint splatters and paper.

Coldghost is a Mixed Media Artist creating works of Urban Pop Art and Abstract Graffiti, most of these artworks are created using recycled materials..

Creating art on Recycled Paper, but also on other found objects including Timber, Canvas, Cardboard and Fabric.

Cold Ghost Artworks draw heavily from Street Art, Suburban and Pop Culture, the Artwork is primarily influenced by graffiti. The works are created using Spray Paint and acrylics, which is can then be finished with paint pens, pencils oil sticks, stencils, in fact anything that can make a mark & most of the works have a layered, textured 3D effect with Lumps, Drips, Rips & Scratches becoming part of the finished Art.

ColdGhostArt has been commissioned to produce art in commercial & public spaces both in Sydney and on The Central Coast and has painted many murals in Restaurants, Bars, Retail Spaces & Galleries.
