Abstract Painting on Canvas

This original large mixed media painting was a continuation of my recent experiment in using spray paint, brushes and liquid pigment to explore the edges of perception.

Other techniques are used to apply the paint, this includes using Rollers, rags, scrapers, spray packs, Paint Pens and pencils and even with my fingers.

The work is an Abstract Statement Piece that would create maximum impact to any room.

This artwork is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces.

This piece was also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.
