This original Mixed Media painting was a continuation of my recent experiment in using different techniques to apply the paint.

The paint was applied with Rollers Sponges, scrapers, spray packs, Paint Pens, stencils, in fact almost anything but brushes.

Once the Abstract Artwork was created, Iconic animation character Mickey Mouse was painted over the top with colour palette inspired by Basquiats’ famous skull painting.

The work is a Statement Piece in my he Neo Pop style, that would create maximum impact to any room.

This artwork stylistically is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways and other weathered surfaces.

The work is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

The work comes on a quality stretched canvas and is ready to hang.

The works are created using Spray Paint and acrylics, which is can then be finished with paint pens, pencils oil sticks, stencils, in fact anything that can make a mark & most of the works have a layered, textured 3D effect with Lumps, Drips, Rips & Scratches becoming part of the finished Art.

ColdGhostArt has been commissioned to produce art in commercial & public spaces both in Sydney and on The Central Coast and has painted many murals in Restaurants, Bars, Retail Spaces & Galleries.

As well as works being sold in London, ColdGhost is also sold in Australia through online galleries and various Retail Outlets.
