This artwork is mixed media, it has street posters, pages from sci-fi novels, comics and other drawings glued to the canvas to create a very textured finish, before being overlaid with spray paints and acrylic..
This original Artwork is a continuation of my current series, playfully exploring the merging of Man & Machine, pop culture and cartoons.. .
Childhood fantasies of future technology from last century, Astro Boy Cartoons & Robot Comics, collide with the reality of this Century.
Into the future we stride, smart phones in hand, typing all our personal information into Apps, our likes & dislikes, our exact location being tracked by satellites.
All this juicy information harvested and sold off to advertisers; ready to capitalise on our every desire and insecurity.
