This Original Artwork is made using Recycled Street Posters & other Recycled paper Materials collected off the street of Sydney and Melbourne. It is mainly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, on Advertising and Billboards.

The main Iconic Image of Australia’s Original Mask Wearer Ned Kelly was then brought up to date into our post pandemic apocalyptic world, with a modern tattoo bod added.

The recent pandemic and compulsory mask wearing had me thinking about masks in history and one of Australia’s most famous mask wearers. The 3 images of Kelly in various stages of dressing in armour could be seen to represent us protecting ourselves from the current pandemics.

The 3 Ned images were then further overlaid with paint and paper along with the background to give a worn grungy weathered appearance.

The Artwork comes on two 92cm Sq canvases and is ready to hang.

The works are created using Spray Paint and acrylics, which is can then be finished with paint pens, pencils oil sticks, stencils, in fact anything that can make a mark & most of the works have a layered, textured 3D effect with Lumps, Drips, Rips & Scratches becoming part of the finished Art.
