Urban Pop Art

This Original Artwork was made using Recycled Street Posters and its main influence is Graffiti Art in City Laneways, on Advertising and Billboards.

This piece was created first by collaging recycled Street Posters and was then overlaid with Acrylic Paint and Sugar Spray Packs, stencils and Paint Pens.

The main image of Tina Turner was then added and further overlaid with paint and Paper. The Artwork comes Framed in Black and mounted under a clear perspex sheet and is ready to hang.

This work has multiple layers of paint & paper built up to create a thick textured look, including bumps, lumps of paint and rips that become part of the overall street art/ abstract effect.

Cold Ghost Artworks draw heavily from Street Art, Suburban and Pop Culture, the Artwork is primarily influenced by graffiti. The works are created using Spray Paint and acrylics, which is can then be finished with paint pens, pencils oil sticks, stencils, in fact anything that can make a mark & most of the works have a layered, textured 3D effect with Lumps, Drips, Rips & Scratches becoming part of the finished Art.
