Mixed media Abstract Painting on Canvas; by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

This original large mixed media painting was a continuation of my recent experiment in using spray paint, brushes and liquid pigment to explore memories and the edges of perception.

The piece was created by first gluing paper down to canvas to create a very textured surface.. The paint was then layered over the top using Rollers, rags, scrapers, spray packs, Paint Pens and pencils and even with my fingers.

The work is an Abstract Statement Piece that would create maximum impact to any room.

This artwork is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces.
