After coffee with family along Byron Bay Road I took a reference photo of this scene, enhanced by its frame of pandanus palms. The scene was between the cafe and the clubhouse opposite the caravan park. I then painted it in my studio and captured the serene atmosphere of Seven Mile Beach in the late morning.
