As an artist, It's important for me to develop
paintings that speak both to me and to others
about the beauty that exists in this ancient land.
My time in the Kimberley,(since 2011)always
stirs deep emotions. I feel in awe of the sacred
and stunning landscape. The vastness feeds my
soul. The utilisation of bright, bold colours &
movement in my art reveals the intensity I feel.
I have long been interested in the use of found,
organic products. This relationship is very
powerful, over time, creating a deeper link with
the land. The whimsical and sometimes abstract
nature of my art strives to evoke what one feels
as opposed to what one sees.
My desire is for everyone to find their Kimberley,
to feel how I do when I spend time in this
stunning environment.
