I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband, a mother of three and grandmother to two beautiful cherubs. I have started to paint later in life after suffering a Traumatic Brain Injury at 52 years of age. Painting initially helped to "unlock" my inner-self, thoughts and feelings that I found hard to express.
Through my recovery and healing, painting has become a love and passion. I like to experiment with texture and colour and am greatly influenced by the natural world around me. I am lucky to paint against a backdrop of trees with birds frequently coming by to visit me. I enjoy the connection and conversation that generates with others. I love what children see and the inspiration they bring to my world and painting. I hope my paintings bring joy, reflection and calm to the person hanging it in their room.
