Corrina McLaughlin is an interdisciplinary artist, whose work is completed within the mediums of drawing, mixed media and painting. Her work focuses on the pressures of society within todays culture in regards to faith as a personal experience and the connection through our subconscious to our personal reality. Corrina has been practising in the visual arts for many years. She has completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts and an Honours in Creative Arts both through University of Southern Queensland. Corrina has also completed some study in theology to help further her ideas based around faith and what it means to be a practicing Christian within the turbulent culture of today.
Corrinaโs long term goal is to become a full time practicing artist engaging actively within and also outside the art world, locally and interstate. Corrina will achieve this through continuing to evolve her personal style and practice, continuing to exhibit both locally in the Northern Rivers areas, and extending into Queensland.
