Artwork Description

This is a Diptych, each artwork measures (91.5 x 61.6 cm) and (45.7 x 61.6 cm)
The total size of the diptych is 137.2 x 61.6 x 4cm
Underwater World is an imagined underwater scene where beautiful tropical fish swim over a textural coral reef in the crystal clear turquoise water of the sea bed.
The reef structure and fishes bodies are sculpted out of acrylic moulding paste using a palette knife and then painted over with artists quality acrylics. I glazed many layers of transparent blues and green colours to achieve the aquamarine seawater.
The sides of each work have been painted so that the textured image continues over and matches the front.
Both works are signed on the front and back.
They are both wired and ready to hang.
