Every child carries a light.
Not something loud or obvious — but a quiet glow, deep inside. I think we’re all born with it.

As we grow, the world gets louder. We’re told who we should be, what we should want, how we should change. Bit by bit, that light gets buried. Forgotten. Replaced by noise.

But somehow, mine never left.
It stayed with me — small, steady, clear. Even when I was doubted, even when I didn’t quite know where I was going, it kept pulling me forward. It reminded me who I was, long before the world told me who to become.

That light helped me choose — not always the easy path, but the one that felt true. And over time, I learned to trust it more than anything else.

Then one day, in a garden in Italy, I looked up — and saw it.
The same light I’d always carried, shining right there in front of me.
Through the trees. On the water.
Soft, golden, quiet — like a memory coming home.
