Full Moon Study I

I love the textures and marks on the moon. So I have started to do some studies of the moon to learn all these features. It is really quite beautiful.

I used a process of applying charcoal, erasing it and then adding more charcoal. I have then sealed it with a number of layers of spray fixative.

I am an artist in Rural NSW and I am trying to turn my hobby into a profession. I am currently a primary school teacher.

I absolutely love animals and because of this they are the focus of almost all of my artworks.

My dream is to have my own property with some cows and a beautiful BIG art studio. Ultimately I would love to be an author/illustrator and professional artist. A girl can dream!!!
