Quiet Reach

Quiet Reach is a 121 x 91cm original oil painting exploring restraint, composition, and subtle tonal layering.

This piece departs from my higher-contrast floral works, instead focusing on a muted, neutral palette where value and structure carry the visual weight. The diagonal branch composition was intentionally lifted higher on the canvas to create tension and balance within the negative space.

Built gradually in soft layers, the surface holds gentle depth, warm creams, softened greens, and quiet shadow shifts that change subtly with light throughout the day.

Designed to sit comfortably in contemporary interiors, this work offers calm presence without overwhelming a space.
