Velvet Fall

Velvet Fall explores the quiet drama of florals emerging through atmosphere. Layers of deep magenta, crimson and blush tones are softened by a misted grey ground, allowing the blooms to feel as though they are drifting gently across the canvas. The vertical movement and subtle drips add a sense of release and natural flow.

This piece was inspired by the idea of contrast, with strength and softness existing together. The richness of oil paint allows depth and luminosity within the darker tones, creating a work that feels both bold and intimate.
