Artwork Description

Professionally printed reproduction of an original artwork by me. This artwork was inspired by a walk that I took along a riverside - passing under a flowering jacaranda tree I looked up to see sunlight piercing the branches and almost instantly knew that I'd found my next drawing subject. Flowers are a favourite subject of mine, and I love how this particular subject evokes the feeling of a clear spring sky and a blossoming jacaranda tree.

Printed on 310gsm Canson Photographique RAG paper. The finished print includes an approximate 35mm white border (edition number and an embossed signature are contained within the border, below the printed image). Allow approx. 7-10 days for printing, plus shipping time (prints ship from Sydney). Two other sizes of this print are available - view available sizes via my artist profile, as well as other limited edition prints and original pastel/pencil artworks.

Artist Bio

Hi there - my name is Craig. I'm a Sydney-based artist who has been inspired by, and involved in, all things creative from a young age. Whilst I may masquerade as a mild-mannered IT analyst during the day (hey, it's still kinda creative!), whenever time permits I will often be found engaged in a new artwork, playing one of several musical instruments that I play, or singing. I also enjoy travelling to new places with my wife and will often take inspiration from scenes and experiences that we have had whilst travelling - but I may also find inspiration in the local nature, buildings and landscapes that can be found in my own "back yard". I enjoy recreating the colours and textures of nature (I'm particularly fond of old stone buildings and structures), and aim to produce artworks that will brighten people's every day. If you like my works, feel free to drop me a message and let me know what you enjoy most about them.
