Craig Rogers, a practising artist for over 40 years, utilising painting, printmaking, and digital. Drawing upon the principles of design and vibrant color, he creates visually arresting, pop-inspired pieces in varying formats from acrylic paints to digital prints. His work is indebted to the writings of Marcel Duchamp, American pop art, and the digital 'metaverse', inviting both amusement and intellectual contemplation. Craig's latest images are familiar, fun and faintly disturbing. The 'Articonik' suite of works reference his lifelong obsessions with colour and the principles of art itself, and how they meld with the ever more encompassing online world.
