An Unapologetic Ode to Pink

I seem to re-visit this curation at least once a year, so if you're still in love with the colour pink like I am, welcome back. This time, I’ve dug a little deeper. Rather than letting overwhelming hot pinks scream from the screen, I've selected pastel peaches and pale pinks to take centre stage. Softer tones, quieter confidence.

Alongside this restraint, there are artists who deserve their own ode to my favourite colour: Renia Lakomy with her bold, expressive abstractions, Jessica Davidson, whose pink-washed landscapes evoke Impressionist, dreamlike skies; and, on the flip side, Tara Lewis, grounding pink within the Queensland bush. Together, these works form an unapologetic yet considered ode to pink, subtle and powerful.
