Fauvism Faves

The fauvist art movement is for anyone with a love of colour and cheer. 'Les Fauves' as the artists who were part of the movement are known experimented with intense colour and deliberate brushstrokes that aim to express the joy of a scene or figure. Learn more about the movement in our What is Fauvism blog here.
This curation looks at how contemporary artists have drawn upon the movement to create modern interpretations. Mixing with other art movements that came after, these artists have incorporated fauvist styles and colours into their works, making for a beautifully bold and vibrant collection of art.
