Pablo Picasso's career spans many signature styles and periods, most notably the birth of cubism. This modern master had a huge impact on society with his strange abstract faces, bright colours and geometric interpretations. From his blue period to his cubist masterpieces, the legendary Spanish artist is known to even those who seek to avoid art. While his personal life is still a source of censure and scandal, despite his death being over 40 years ago, his work continues to be an influence on artists today.

While his portraits are arguably his most famous works, many contemporary artists draw inspiration from the entire span of his career.
