About this Curation

NAIDOC Week is here again. A week that celebrates the culture and community of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders. NAIDOC, which stands for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, is this year embracing the theme of Voice, Treaty & Truth. In honour of the week, we've gathered some of favourite recent artworks that have been uploaded by our Aboriginal artists and art centres.

About the Curator

Megan is Bluethumb's Content Coordinator and handles all things photography related. The voice behind Bluethumb's social media and blogs, she is a core part of the curatorial team and leads the weekly newsletters. She holds photography dear to her heart, with a background as a freelance photographer herself.

Melbourne born and bred, her days at Bluethumb are filled with many coffees, cuddles from the resident canine companions and of course, spending more $ than is sensible on stunning art.
