Resin is a hydrocarbon secretion which comes from plants, trees in particular. Resin binds fibres together and provides a boundary against weather, water and chemicals. It offers a high gloss reflective surface and often looks like aerial images. The tactile nature and depth of the the substance almost allows you to dive into the artwork. Resin in some artworks is almost three-dimensional and each piece is one of a kind.
